This is a blog about everyday life of my experience as a work from home, Mom and Grandmother. Comments, advice and opinions are greatly appreciated. My days take me from 7AM ice Hockey games to 9PM Competition Cheer practice, sometimes I go from working in the office at Szczerba Excavating to flying with our son in the latest plane he's rented. It's about real life and the struggles of busy Moms. I will be featuring small businesses I admire.

An Entrepreneur's List of 17 Techniques for Handling 'Haters'
Oh, have I experienced this! What do you do to combat the naysayers? Which 'Haters' effect you the most? How do you turn the 'negatives' into 'positives'? Do they cause you to grow or hide?

Homecoming Alabama University, Tuscaloosa Alabama
I woke up this morning and immediately thought to reserve a room for Homecoming October 1,2016.We will have two granddaughters attending University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa this coming year.
We love to go to Homecoming because of all the activities all weekend. Last year we walked 9 miles a day but we never thought about it until we got back to the hotel that night!
I tried every hotel web site and of course every hotel is sold out already. I did find one hotel that was available for one night but by the time I booked it , it was gone already. So I guess we will be driving back and for the from Bessemer 35 miles away.
Whatever we have to do we certainly don't want to miss Homecoming weekend with our granddaughters!
Now on to the search for tickets........

3 Reasons to Visit Oakdale, PA
When is the last time you took a step back in time?
It's been quite a while since I visited the pretty little shop in Oakdale,PA called Willow Creek Crossing. I came across their latest blog post and now I'm yearning for a day trip to visit the charming shop once again. Be sure to check out their blog and note especially the slate pieces that I am sure will be a conversation starter at your Memorial Day picnic this year!
While you are there, plan to eat lunch at The Diner, a nostalgic step into the past. Good food, big portions and great people.
Oakdale, PA is a lovely old town that will make you feel like you've stepped back in time. Take a stroll down the main street in town and sit a spell in the park next to the old time clock.
Actually there are more than 3 reasons to visit, but I'll leave the discovery up to you.
